Ability of accelerator-driven systems (ADS) to transmute long lived fission fragments

This paper presents the research results of the possibility to transmute the long-lived radioactive isotopes into stable or short-lived, mainly the long-lived fission fragments as $^{99}$Tc, $^{127}$I, $^{129}$I, $^{181}$Ta, $^{107}$Ag, $^{109}$Ag by accelerator-driven systems. We use semi-empirical formulas to establish our calculating code with the support of computer programs.
